The Pioneer Platform gives you a big, flat space to load gear of all shapes and sizes. At 59" long and 49" wide, it lets you spread out cargo instead of stacking it high. That means kayaks, coolers, camping bins, or even a spare tire can sit securely without awkward balancing. The low 1-3/4" height keeps the whole setup tight to the roof and easy to reach when loading or unloading.
When you’re bouncing down a trail or heading off-pavement, a stable rack makes all the difference. The Backbone mounts directly to factory points on the roof to create a strong base for the platform. This setup gives the rack solid support under heavy loads and resists shifting when things get bumpy. The aluminum frame with reinforced nylon connectors is designed for rugged use and tested for Australian conditions, so it’s ready for wherever your trips take you.
Some racks catch wind and hum at highway speeds, but this one keeps things calm. Its aerodynamic profile helps cut wind resistance, while the detachable wind fairing smooths airflow to reduce noise and drag. With its tight fit and clean lines, it blends right in rather than sticking out above the roofline.
The integrated channels in the planks and frame let you mount a wide range of accessories—everything from awnings and shovel holders to light brackets or spare tire carriers. If you want to carry kayaks or cargo boxes, accessory bars (RR33AP - sold separately) make that possible too. Wiring from your lights or other gear can even be routed through the perimeter of the platform for a clean, tucked-away finish.
This platform is made from powder-coated aluminum with reinforced nylon connectors for durability and scuff resistance. It’s strong enough for demanding use but light enough not to weigh down your setup. Every piece is designed to handle real adventure while staying easy to maintain, with a torque tool set included for straightforward installation and upkeep.

I love this roof rack! Since I purchased it, I also purchased the eye bolts for the rack and have used them numerous times over the past year. I have been able to move many different things on top of the rack. At this point, Im looking at possible getting the side guards in the near future.

The rack is still doing great! No issues and the mounting system is holding up well even under some harsh off-roading conditions.
